Week 3 - Wrap-up
This week you learned about Vault's core feature set and that a secret is anything that you want to tightly control access to, such as API encryption keys, passwords, or certificates. You learned about authentication and authorization methods and that all of Vault's features are available through the UI, the CLI, or an HTTP API.
You also explored horizontal scaling with performance standby nodes and how they are used as a centralized secrets store with localized differences such as policies. You created some policies and learned how they are used with Vault's identity-based structure. You also learned about Multi-factor authentication and the SSH secrets engine.
